Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement

By requesting a quote or purchasing services from Iowa Gutter Guards, you agree to these terms. Our services include gutter guard installation and related services as described in your individual quote.

2. Quotes and Pricing

• Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date provided
• Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during installation
• Any additional work outside the original scope will be quoted separately
• We reserve the right to decline service

3. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed
• We accept major credit cards, checks, and cash
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Late payments may incur additional fees

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel scheduled services with at least 48 hours notice without penalty. Cancellations with less notice may be subject to a fee.

5. Warranty Terms

5.1 Product Warranty

Iowa Gutter Guards provides a lifetime warranty on all gutter guard products against manufacturer defects. This warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing for the life of the product while installed at the original property.

5.2 Workmanship Warranty

We provide a one (1) year workmanship warranty covering the quality of our installation work. This workmanship warranty does not go into effect until the final invoice is paid in full. The workmanship warranty period begins on the date of final payment.

5.3 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does NOT cover:

• Acts of God – damage caused by severe weather events including but not limited to tornadoes, hurricanes, hail, lightning, floods, earthquakes, or other natural disasters
• Damage caused by falling trees, branches, or other debris
• Damage caused by improper maintenance or neglect
• Damage caused by modifications, alterations, or repairs made by anyone other than Iowa Gutter Guards
• Damage caused by improper use or misuse of the gutter system
• Normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes (fading, minor scratches)
• Damage to existing gutters, fascia, or roofing not caused by our installation

5.4 Warranty Claims

• Warranty claims must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]
• Customer must allow reasonable access to the property for warranty inspection
• Iowa Gutter Guards will determine, at its sole discretion, whether the issue is covered under warranty
• Covered repairs will be completed at no charge; non-covered repairs will be quoted separately

5.5 Non-Transferability

All warranties are non-transferable. Warranties apply only to the original customer who purchased the installation and are void upon sale or transfer of the property.

5.6 Warranty Duration

The lifetime product warranty remains in effect for the life of the product, contingent upon Iowa Gutter Guards remaining in active business operation. In the event that Iowa Gutter Guards ceases business operations, all warranties shall terminate.

6. Liability

• We are fully licensed and insured
• We are not liable for pre-existing conditions or damage not caused by our work
• Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided
• We are not responsible for damage caused by severe weather events

7. Property Access

By scheduling service, you grant us permission to access your property and perform the agreed-upon work. You are responsible for ensuring safe access and clearing any obstacles.

8. Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 7 days of completion. We will work to resolve any issues. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes will be handled through mediation or arbitration in the State of Iowa.
